Atalanta coach Ivan Juric has spoken about the rift between Ademola Lookman and the club and has claimed that it is a closed chapter.
Earlier in the summer, Ademola Lookman had stated his wish to leave Bergamo, but the team insisted on keeping him, thereby putting an end to transfer rumours.
However, Lookman returned to action for Atalanta on Saturday following their 3-0 Serie A victory over Torino.
Following doubts about his future during the summer transfer window, the Nigerian forward made his season debut in the 87th minute.

“Lookman? That’s a closed issue,” Juric said, as quoted by Tuttosport. “The group is solid. He spoke with me and the team on Monday. He has a great winning mentality: now we need to get him back physically fit.”
The Croatian coach emphasised the value of Lookman’s mentality and gave his word that the forward will continue to be a vital member of the team in spite of his off-field issues.

Juric highlighted that his reintroduction helped Atalanta’s offence as they gear up for future games, notably the match against Juventus.
The manager also stressed that now that he is back, his attention is on football and getting Lookman back to his best.
