The voting outcomes for the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy have been unveiled, showing that Nigerian media professionals favored England’s Hannah Hampton over Nigeria’s own Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, for the top spot.
Nnadozie earned a nomination for the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy after delivering standout performances for both her club and the national team.
Her exceptional goalkeeping was instrumental in securing the Super Falcons’ 10th title at the African Cup of Nations this year.
