Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, popularly known as Esther Sky, has ignited controversy once again by openly criticizing Imisi, a finalist in Big Brother Naija Season 10.
As the much-awaited grand finale approaches on Sunday, October 5, Esther Sky shared a video on her Facebook page expressing her belief that Imisi is undeserving of the BBNaija crown.
She argued that Imisi, who competes alongside other finalists such as Faith, Dede, Isabella, Jason, Koyin, and Kola, was merely performing a role inside the house rather than revealing her authentic personality.
Esther also took issue with Imisi’s wardrobe choices, highlighting the stark difference between her polished appearance in the official BBNaija promotional photos and her more casual, inconsistent outfits during the show.
In Esther’s own words:
“Can someone please ask your favorite why she dresses so poorly and acts for the cameras? In the BBNaija pictures, she looks stunning and stylish, but inside the house, she’s all over the place-one day in white, the next in some random outfit, wearing mismatched shoes. I thought the essence of Big Brother was to be genuine. Why do some contestants put on a facade?”
She went further to insinuate that Imisi might have resorted to spiritual means before entering the competition.
“Some people don’t just enter the house with ordinary preparation; they go through rituals. Big Brother Naija, I keep saying this-contestants are using juju to gain advantage. Vote for those who are authentic, not those playing scripted roles and hiding their true selves. Imisi didn’t come in with normal eyes; I’m convinced she had some spiritual backing,” Esther stated.
The post sparked a variety of reactions from social media users:
@Dolin Agbeke Jaiyeola: “Madam, please relax, this is what we paid for.”
@Susses Sunday: “Madam, why don’t you enter the house yourself?”
Rose Gana: “Only someone familiar with rituals can recognize them in others.”
@Ujunwa Ibeneme: “Madam, it’s none of your business. Big Brother is all about strategy if you didn’t know.”
@Desirei Peters: “So fake.”
@Helen Bright: “Thank you, sister, for speaking the truth. God bless you.”
