A groundbreaking partnership and world record bonus has been announced by ATHLOS organizers for highly anticipated meet in New York.
Organisers of the ATHLOS track meet in New York have announced a major partnership with Cash App and a World Record bonus of $250,000 for any athlete who attains such a feat.
The ATHLOS meet set to take place at the renowned Icahn Stadium in New York on October 10, will feature some of the world’s top female athletes compete in a competition that promises a combination of exceptional athletic performances and entertainment.

In a press release on ATHLOS’ official social media platforms, they announced the official partnership with Cash App as the payment platform for the athletes.
“We’re partnering with @CashApp as our official Payments Partner to bring a faster future to track & field – on the track and at the finish line – introducing a new model for how performance turns into pay.
“This year, Cash App is enabling immediate prize payments for all eligible athletes the moment results are confirmed. Beyond record-setting payout times, Cash App is offering a $250,000 world-record bonus to any athlete who breaks a world record at Athlos NYC.
“Faster payouts mean real-time recognition and an athlete-first experience, raising the bar for the sport.”
ATHLOS successfully debuted on September 26, 2024, at the Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island in New York City, featuring some of the fastest women in the world, including Olympic champions and World Record holders.
With an offer of the largest-ever purse for a women-only competition of $60,000 for each race winner, the organizers modernized the sport by combining “competition with entertainment, including a performance by top musician Megan Thee Stallion after the last race, that drew ‘near-universal praise’ from participants and fans globally.

This year, the organizers elevated the meet by transforming it into a two-day athletics competition that now includes field events, partnering with Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall to host an exciting field competition at Times Square on October 9.
