ABUJA – Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady, has emphasized the pressing need to address the critical shortage of teachers across the nation.
In her statement marking the 2025 World Teachers’ Day, themed “Focusing on the Global Teacher Shortage,” Mrs. Tinubu highlighted the importance of this issue.
Drawing from her own experience as a former educator, Senator Tinubu praised teachers as the unsung champions who mold intellects, foster aspirations, and lead future generations.
Her message conveyed: “This World Teachers’ Day 2025, under the theme ‘Focusing on the Global Teacher Shortage,’ reminds us to shine a spotlight on one of society’s most honorable callings.
