That’s Why They’re All Making Noise’ – Super Eagles Legend Boldly Declares Arsenal Can’t Win the EPL!

Former Super Eagles star Sunday Oliseh has expressed doubts about Arsenal and their manager Mikel Arteta clinching the Premier League crown this season.

Despite Arsenal’s impressive start, currently leading the Premier League with 16 points from seven games, Oliseh remains skeptical about their title credentials.

The Gunners secured a 2-0 win against West Ham just before the international break, edging one point ahead of Liverpool, who suffered a defeat to Crystal Palace.

Nevertheless, the former Nigeria captain argues that neither the squad nor Arteta exhibit the essential winning mentality required to secure the league title.

Oliseh’s perspective on Arsenal’s championship prospects

Oliseh is unconvinced that Arsenal are true contenders for the Premier League trophy. He attributes the optimism surrounding Arsenal and other challengers mainly to Manchester City’s recent struggles.

“The reason all these clubs are in the title race is because Manchester City is faltering. That’s the sole cause of the noise you hear from teams like Arsenal and Chelsea,” Oliseh remarked on his YouTube channel.

“You hear Arsenal and others claiming they will win the league, but the reality is that champions are bred, not born. You don’t get a crocodile from an elephant,” he added.

“The mindset to win is cultivated over time. I hold no grudge against Arteta, but I often wonder: how many major trophies did he win as a player?”

In recent seasons, Arsenal have come tantalizingly close to ending their Premier League drought but have been outpaced by the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

The club is eager to sustain its current form as it chases its first league title since the iconic ‘Invincibles’ campaign of 2003/04.
