Following the end of a brief two-day ceasefire between Afghanistan and Pakistan, Afghan officials reported that Pakistani military forces conducted strikes in southeastern Afghanistan on Friday. The air raids were concentrated in Paktika province and two neighboring districts adjacent to the Pakistan border. Among the locations hit was a civilian home in Khanadar village, where casualties were confirmed, according to police spokesperson Mohammadullah Amini Mawia. The exact nature and delivery method of these attacks remain undisclosed. Afghan authorities have accused Pakistan of violating the ceasefire, but Islamabad has not issued any official statement addressing these claims. Report by Peter O’Brien.
