Ebonyi State University Campus” border=”0″ />Located in the heart of Abakaliki, Ebonyi State University has taken a strong disciplinary action by expelling three students found in possession of unauthorized firearms.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Awoke announced this during the inauguration of the 2025/2026 Students’ Union Government executives, highlighting the institution’s firm commitment to maintaining campus safety.
Professor Awoke stressed that this strict enforcement aims to deter any form of misconduct within the student body, reinforcing the university’s steadfast zero-tolerance stance on cult-related activities and associated offenses. The expelled students have been identified as Azubike Lawrence from the Medical Laboratory Science faculty, Enyinnaya Ibe Kenneth of the Architecture department, and Njoku Joshua from the Animal Science program.
