In an interview with Messaggero Veneto, Nani expressed his pleasure at Okoye’s return, stating, “We are glad to have Maduka back,” as reported by Tuttoudinese.
Nevertheless, Nani was clear that Okoye’s reinstatement in the starting eleven is not automatic. The final call lies with the head coach, who retains full discretion over team selection.
