Building on that momentum, the Dutch tactician splurged close to £500 million on new signings during the latest transfer period.
However, despite these hefty investments, Liverpool has stumbled recently, enduring four straight losses across various competitions.

“We’ve maintained regular contact since then; he’s a remarkable person,” Klopp stated. “He has fully utilized the squad’s capabilities, leading them to an impressive league title.”
Reflecting on Liverpool’s recent struggles following a busy transfer window, Klopp defended Slot’s approach and stressed the importance of patience.
“This isn’t about Arne trying to prove anything to the world; it’s about getting the best out of the team, which he has achieved,” Klopp added.
“The new recruits are undoubtedly skilled, but integrating them into the team’s system requires time. Development cannot be rushed; it demands careful adjustment.”
Slot now faces the task of halting Liverpool’s decline after a 2-1 loss to Manchester United at Anfield last weekend.
