Spanish La Liga side Sevilla is reportedly considering signing Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Soccernet.ng.
As Sevilla aims to secure a strong finish in the league standings this season, the club is keen to strengthen its attacking options.
While forwards Akor Adams and Isaac Romero have shown promise, their performances have lacked the consistency needed to lead the line effectively.

Currently, Adams has netted two goals and provided one assist across seven appearances, whereas Romero has scored three times in eight matches.
In pursuit of an additional offensive weapon, Sevilla has reportedly set their sights on Sadiq Umar, as highlighted by Vamos Mi Sevilla.
Is Sevilla Poised to Acquire Sadiq Umar from Real Sociedad?
This season, Sadiq Umar has found playing time hard to come by at Real Sociedad, featuring only twice-and both appearances were as a substitute.

Once regarded as one of Spain’s top strikers, the 28-year-old’s career trajectory was disrupted by a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury three years ago, from which he has yet to fully recover.
Nevertheless, during a loan stint at Valencia last season, Sadiq demonstrated flashes of his former prowess by scoring five goals in 16 La Liga appearances.
He had expressed interest in making the move permanent after his loan expired, but negotiations ultimately fell through.

Given his limited involvement at Real Sociedad, the club appears open to transferring Sadiq. Despite being under contract until 2028, he remains one of the highest earners on the squad without regular playing time.
Should the transfer materialize, Sadiq Umar would join fellow Nigerians Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke as part of Sevilla’s squad.
