Victor Osimhen once again demonstrated his striking prowess by scoring twice, steering Galatasaray to a commanding 3-1 victory over Bodo/Glimt during their UEFA Champions League encounter at RAMS Park on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian striker, who has recently been nominated for the 2025 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award, played a pivotal role in coach Okan Buruk‘s starting lineup, delivering an outstanding performance.
Osimhen wasted no time to make his mark, netting the opener in the third minute with a clinical finish from just outside the box, expertly assisted by Mario Lemina.

Before the break, Osimhen capitalized on a defensive error to extend Galatasaray’s advantage, becoming only the second player in the club’s history to score in seven consecutive European matches.
Yunus Akgun sealed the triumph for the Turkish giants with a goal in the 60th minute, while Andreas Helmersen managed to reduce the deficit for the Norwegian side.
With this brace, Osimhen’s tally in European competitions has soared to nine goals in his last seven appearances, bringing his total Champions League goals to 11, solidifying his status as one of Europe’s elite forwards.
This win also underscores Galatasaray’s impressive form, marking their 21st victory in 23 matches across all tournaments, a remarkable turnaround after their opening defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 1.
