Reform UK’s candidate, Llŷr Powell, rejected claims that immigration dominated his campaign.
He explained, “My focus has been on government strategies and identifying the most effective ways to invest in Caerphilly.”
Starting from scratch, we had to engage with many new voters and build support from the ground up. The campaign has been incredibly rewarding. The dramatic decline in Labour’s backing is evident to all. Labour’s actions here have felt like a profound letdown.
Looking ahead to next year, we are positioned strongly. A key objective was to refine our campaigning skills. We’ve equipped numerous volunteers with our methods, transforming into a party rooted in grassroots activism.
