Temidayo Omoniyi, widely recognized by his stage name Zlatan Ibile, stands as a significant figure in the Nigerian rap industry. Recently, he revealed intentions to potentially host a boxing event featuring fellow artists Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, with a tentative date set for December.
In a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Zlatan disclosed that he is currently in negotiations with the promoters responsible for the April boxing match that featured Portable and Speed Darlington.
Zlatan expressed his commitment to bridging the gap between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, noting that while their ongoing feud has drawn significant public interest, it ultimately disrupts the harmony and advancement of the Nigerian music landscape.
“My goal is to facilitate a boxing match between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck. Both artists are dear friends, and I have already started talks with the team behind the Speed Darlington versus Portable fight to make this happen in December,” Zlatan revealed.
“They hold a special place in my heart, and I sincerely wish for them to move past their disagreements. I am not a fan of the hostility, whether it’s genuine or staged. I believe they have the potential to reconcile and collaborate once more.”
