Salesforce and Google have strengthened their partnership by embedding Google’s Gemini AI models into Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform. This integration empowers businesses to streamline intricate workflows, enhance operational productivity, and elevate customer engagement.
By merging their AI capabilities, these tech giants aim to refine processes across sales, IT, and customer support, fostering a more intelligent and fluid workplace experience.
This collaboration also connects Salesforce’s AI-driven CRM with Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Meet. This seamless integration allows users to access customer data and execute tasks without toggling between different platforms.
By integrating Agentforce 360 with Gemini Enterprise, the system can generate “context-aware” workflows. This means the AI comprehends the user’s current situation and offers timely, pertinent recommendations to aid decision-making.

Incorporating Gemini AI Models into the Salesforce Framework
This enhanced partnership enables companies to leverage Google’s Gemini AI through Salesforce’s Atlas Reasoning Engine, the core technology behind Agentforce. This broadens the spectrum of AI models available to enterprises and boosts the platform’s capacity to manage complex, multi-layered tasks.
Salesforce users can now deploy AI agents that combine Gemini’s sophisticated analytical and reasoning abilities with Salesforce’s automation features. These agents adeptly handle customer inquiries, process extensive datasets, and forecast sales trends with heightened precision and dependability.
Additionally, Salesforce has enhanced its “large action models,” which surpass conventional language models by automating complex activities such as dispatching emails, updating records, and producing comprehensive reports.
Silvio Savarese, Salesforce’s Chief Scientist, highlights that these innovations are vital for enterprise AI, which requires both reliability and resilience. He notes that integrating Google’s Gemini into Salesforce’s ecosystem equips businesses with more trustworthy AI agents capable of managing critical operations.
The collaboration also supports open AI protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A), fostering interoperability among AI systems from different vendors. This ensures smooth coordination and improved efficiency for large organizations utilizing diverse AI solutions.
Elevating Workplace Efficiency through AI Integration
A primary goal of this alliance is to embed AI directly into the daily tools employees rely on. By integrating Agentforce functionalities into Google Workspace, users gain effortless access to CRM information within familiar apps such as Gmail and Meet.
For instance, Agentforce Sales can automatically craft customized email replies in Gmail triggered by form inputs, qualify prospects, and arrange meetings in Google Calendar. Sales teams can also view and modify CRM data within Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides, utilizing Gemini’s insights to optimize workflows.

Furthermore, Salesforce’s Agentforce IT Service integrates with Google tools to automate routine IT operations. It manages user access within Google Workspace, secures ChromeOS devices, and leverages Google Looker to track service performance metrics.

George Kwon, Google’s VP of Product Management, explained that combining Workspace, Gemini, and Salesforce creates a unified platform where data and AI assistance converge, enabling sales, support, and IT teams to collaborate more efficiently and make quicker, smarter decisions.
Gemini Enterprise Enhances Teamwork within Slack
The partnership also extends Gemini Enterprise’s functionalities into Slack, providing AI-generated insights, summaries, and suggestions directly within team conversations based on ongoing chats and shared files.
Utilizing Slack’s Real-Time Search API, Gemini accesses the most recent company data from messages and documents, allowing users to query or request updates within Slack and receive responses grounded in current team interactions.
For example, a project lead might ask Gemini in Slack for a brief status update on a marketing campaign, compiled from relevant discussions, reports, and documents. Similarly, customer support teams can swiftly retrieve recent client interactions and draft prompt replies without leaving their workspace.
This integration embeds AI assistance into collaborative workflows, reducing the need to hunt for information or switch between multiple applications.

This collaboration between Salesforce and Google marks a pivotal advancement in enterprise technology: leveraging AI not only to automate tasks but also to unify data and teams more effectively.
The partnership propels Salesforce’s vision of the “Agentic Enterprise,” where intelligent agents coordinate cross-departmental workflows by embedding Gemini’s advanced reasoning into core business systems.
