She Mocked us During EndSARS Protest - Jude Eze Reacts to Regina Daniels Public Cry For Help

A Nigerian cinematographer has stirred reactions online after responding sharply to actress Regina Daniels’ recent plea for help from Nigerians.
Regina, who had earlier taken to social media to seek public support over a current marital battle with her estranged billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, probably did not expect the backlash that followed. But one comment in particular caught public attention — from a cinematographer who reminded her of her past stance during the #EndSARS protests in 2020.

According to the cinematographer, Regina Daniels once dismissed the youths protesting against police brutality as “children” who didn’t understand the bigger picture. He wrote:

“When we were protesting against police brutality in 2020, she called us children. Now she wants these same ‘children’ to rise and help her. Life truly comes full circle.”

The response has since gone viral across X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, sparking a heated debate. While some Nigerians agreed that Regina’s past comments made her plea hypocritical, others urged empathy, arguing that everyone deserves support regardless of past opinions.

I have been reporting for several years now and I am very interested in visual news reportage with strong inclusion of photos and video multimedia.
