The fallout from the dramatic in-flight altercation between social activist VeryDarkMan and comedian Mr Jollof has gotten another twist — this time from none other than singer Portable. As the video of the brawl circulated widely, Portable took to social media to deliver his verdict — and, as always, he didn’t hold back.
In a video making the rounds, Portable commented on the bizarre incident with biting humor and incisive critique. He declared, quite bluntly:
“Anybody that fights inside a plane should go to prison.”
His point is simple, but powerful: regardless of whatever baggage VDM or Mr Jollof might carry, resorting to violence in a confined, high-stakes setting like an aircraft is a level beyond petty squabble.
Portable didn’t just condemn the act — he also took aim specifically at VeryDarkMan’s ego. In another clip, he throws mild shade, saying VDM is “big for nothing” and suggesting he clearly “couldn’t win Mr Jollof.”
This jab is part of a larger conversation: for Portable, VDM’s bravado online didn’t translate into control or dignity when things turned real.
The plane fight itself has sparked widespread backlash. Netizens have denounced both men, calling the altercation “embarrassing” and “unacceptable.”
