Keyamo to flag off United Nigeria Airlines' inaugural flight to Ekiti December 10th



Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, will lead dignitaries and others as United Nigeria airline commences its inaugural commercial flight to Ekiti State from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Wednesday, December 10th.

The development marks a milestone in the expansion of domestic air connectivity across Nigeria and reinforces the airline’s commitment to serving emerging routes with growing economic and social importance.

The new service will operate at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Airport, Ado-Ekiti, opening a fresh chapter for air travel in the state and providing residents, investors, government officials, students, and visitors with a faster, safer, and more convenient travel option.

This inaugural flight represents a major boost to the state’s economic prospects, providing support for tourism, commerce, agriculture, and the creative industry that continues to flourish in the region.

It also aligns with United Nigeria Airlines’ strategic vision of linking underserved destinations and enhancing mobility across Nigeria.

Speaking ahead of the launch, the management of United Nigeria Airlines noted that the decision to begin flight operations to Ekiti was driven by the rising demand for improved connectivity and the airline’s desire to support the state’s development agenda.

The airline emphasised its commitment to high safety standards, quality customer service, and reliable operations across all its routes.
