Nigeria-Turkiye Business Council has promoted TMT Travels and Tours Limited to its category A membership.
This was announced at the end of the year business cocktail held at Turkiye Embassy in Abuja Thursday by Nigerian Turkiye Business Council (NTBC) that TMT Travels and Tours Limited promotion was as a result of its consistency and solid record of transparency in its 13 years of operation in the sector.
The cocktail with the heading ‘An unforgettable evening of high value connections, networking, entertainment and new members induction,’ had in attendance Mehmet Poroy, the Turkiye Ambassador to Nigeria, and Dele Oye, chairman of Nigerian Turkiye Business Council (NTBC) as well as others in attendance.
Olutoye Ariyo, chairman of Voyage Oil and Gas Limited, was the keynote speaker at the event.
Meanwhile, in a statement in Owerri, Imo State, on Friday, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, chief executive officer (CEO) of TMT Travels and Tours Limited, said that the firm’s promotion by NTBC was heartwarming, thanking everyone that supported the agency in its 13 years of operation.
Onukwubiri said that the agency was committed to continuing to work towards the success of Nigeria’s tourism and entertainment sector.
“The promotion of our agency to category A membership at Nigerian-Turkiye Business Council business cocktail held at Turkiye Embassy Abuja, Nigeria, is only reminder that we need to do more.
“We appreciate the Turkiye Ambassador to Nigeria, Mehmet Poroy for acknowledging the invaluable economic contributions TMT Travels and Tours Limited have in the bilateral relationship between Turkiye and Nigeria.
“We are not yet perfect and we have not reached our target yet but as a responsible agency we would continue to work to ensure that the dreams as many of Nigerians who want to seek greener pastures abroad are realise,” he said.
