Senegal have emerged champions of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after edging host nation Morocco 1–0 in a tense final decided in extra time.
The highly anticipated showdown, played in front of a passionate home crowd, saw both sides locked in a goalless battle through regulation time, with disciplined defending and missed chances defining the first 90 minutes.
