Residents of Adedosun Street, a neighborhood just off Akilo Road in Agege, Lagos, have made an urgent call to the Lagos State Government and local law enforcement to intervene in a growing security concern involving a disruptive individual causing distress in their area.
Locals report that the situation has worsened, with the individual allegedly throwing stones and other harmful objects from his property into adjacent homes. Parents express deep worry as their children no longer feel safe playing outside, fearing injury from these attacks.
A video shared by a community member features a woman speaking in Yoruba, earnestly requesting swift action from authorities. She describes how the man has threatened neighbors using weapons like knives and shattered glass bottles, and has even claimed to be armed with a gun.
Despite numerous reports filed at the Area G Police Station, residents say that no substantial measures have been taken. They also accuse some officers of demanding bribes before responding, leaving the community feeling exposed and uneasy.
The people of Adedosun Street are now insisting on immediate and decisive intervention from officials to ensure their safety and prevent any further incidents.
