On October 24th, 2025, Nigerian Afrobeat artist Charles Onyeabor, now based in Europe, achieved a remarkable milestone by selling out the renowned Hard Rock Café in Florence, Italy.
As the son of the legendary Afro-funk pioneer William Onyeabor, Charles captivated the audience with an electrifying set that fused Afrobeat with elements of soul, funk, and contemporary rhythms, crafting a unique sound that is unmistakably his own.
His performance featured fan favorites like “Ifenkili,” “As e dey play, e dey show,” alongside his latest club hit “Cho Cho Cho,” showcasing his dynamic stage presence that kept the crowd energized and dancing throughout the evening.
The event was further elevated by an impressive roster of guest artists, including DJ Obas, DJ Top Gee, UK-based Afrobeat influencer Adesope Olajide (Shopsydoo), Henry Afrobeat Rome, Young Game, and Pharrow, who all contributed to the vibrant atmosphere.
