President Tinubu’s Wife, Oluremi, Reveals Shocking Betrayal Her Husband Faced in 2023

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, spouse of Nigeria’s President, has disclosed that her husband faced betrayal from some of his political comrades.

She revealed that this occurred during the 2023 presidential race.

In her recently published 52-page memoir, *The Journey of Grace: Giving Thanks in All Things*, launched in celebration of her 65th birthday, the First Lady shared that President Tinubu contemplated the prospect of leading the nation for over fourteen years.

She expressed surprise that many individuals she expected to back the ambition, based on previous connections, were not as supportive as anticipated.

Following discussions with various key figures, she observed that several political associates chose to distance themselves quietly, while others preferred to adopt a wait-and-see approach.

She explained, “Some responses were encouraging, yet others were ambiguous. A few declined subtly, and some opted to withhold judgment until the results were clear.”

“I came to understand that true reward for good deeds comes solely from God, not from people.”

Despite these challenges, the First Lady emphasized that she harbors no resentment towards anyone. With spiritual guidance, she resolved to release any bitterness.

“I chose to let go because doing good remains paramount. Like my Savior Jesus Christ, who, as described in Acts 10:38, was empowered by the Holy Spirit to heal and help those oppressed by evil, for God was with Him.”

“Therefore, I hold no grudges, recognizing human imperfection. We must not place our trust entirely in people; when they assist us, it is God working through them to bless us.

“When their support ceases, it signifies that their divine purpose in our lives has concluded, as reflected in Jeremiah 17:5-8. Our focus should remain on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).”
