Celebrating over three decades of marriage, Michelle and Barack Obama commemorated their 33rd wedding anniversary with heartfelt tributes that dispel any rumors of discord between them.
Both shared a joyful selfie on their social media accounts, beaming side by side.
Michelle, 61, expressed her enduring affection: “After 33 years together, my love for you has only grown stronger since the day we exchanged vows. Happy anniversary, @BarackObama! I feel incredibly fortunate to share this life with you.”
In response, Barack, 64, lauded his wife’s remarkable character: “Marrying you, @MichelleObama, remains the best choice I’ve ever made. For 33 years, I’ve admired your resilience, elegance, and unwavering spirit – not to mention how effortlessly you carry it all. Happy anniversary!”
Married since 1992, the Obamas are parents to two daughters, Malia, 27, and Sasha, 24. Despite persistent speculation about their relationship, the couple has consistently demonstrated unity and affection.
Earlier this year, Michelle candidly addressed the divorce rumors, stating, “Not once in our marriage have I considered giving up on my husband.”
She further reflected, “We’ve navigated some challenging moments, but also shared countless joyful experiences and adventures. I’ve grown immensely as a person because of the man I married.”
Adding a touch of humor to their anniversary, Michelle recently joked on her podcast about Barack’s eating habits, teasing that his chewing sometimes tempts her to “give him a playful smack.”
