Tinubu to attend funeral of APC Chairman's mother, meet religious leaders in Plateau Saturday

Continuing his nationwide tour, President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Jos in Plateau State this Saturday, where he will engage with a diverse group of religious leaders.

According to Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, during his stay in Jos, the President will also participate in the funeral service honoring Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe, the mother of APC National Chairman Nantewe Yilwatda.

Additionally, the President’s dialogue with Christian leaders from across Northern Nigeria is set to take place at the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) headquarters in Jos.

Onanuga confirmed that President Tinubu will return to Lagos later the same day following the engagements in Plateau State.

This visit is part of President Tinubu’s broader initiative to foster national unity and enhance social harmony across the country.

His tour commenced with a stop in Kaduna, followed by a trip to Ibadan, Oyo State, where he attended the coronation ceremony of Rashid Ladoja as the Olubadan.

Subsequently, the President traveled to Owerri, the capital of Imo State, to inaugurate several legacy projects initiated by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
