Following a frustrating 1-1 stalemate at Falkirk Stadium on Sunday evening, a faction of disgruntled Rangers supporters attempted to prevent the team bus from departing, highlighting the growing dissatisfaction with the club’s recent performances.
Law enforcement officers had to step in to facilitate the safe exit of players and staff amid escalating tensions outside the venue.
The team’s coach was encircled by fans who vocally expressed their displeasure and demanded answers, prompting police to intervene and create a secure passage.

Russell Martin, the beleaguered head coach facing increasing pressure and calls for removal, was discreetly escorted away in a separate vehicle under police protection to avoid direct confrontation with the agitated crowd.
After the final whistle, a group of supporters, many clad in black, lingered outside the stadium for more than an hour and a half before authorities dispersed them around 18:30 BST.
These turbulent events followed yet another underwhelming result, leaving Rangers in a disappointing eighth position in the Premiership table-11 points adrift of leaders Hearts, trailing Celtic by nine points, and only four points ahead of bottom-ranked Aberdeen.
Since his appointment on a three-year contract in June, Martin has managed just a single victory in seven league outings. The mounting frustration among fans has manifested in protests and chants against the manager at recent fixtures.
With the international break providing a pause in action, the club’s board faces a pivotal decision regarding the team’s direction. Rangers will not return to competitive play until 18 October, when they host Dundee United, currently sitting fourth in the league.
