In a collaborative effort, the Mashiah Foundation and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) have provided crucial support to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living within the Bokkos and Bassa local government areas of Plateau State. Yesterday, more than 830 vulnerable individuals received essential relief materials and financial assistance through this humanitarian initiative.
During the distribution ceremony, Pastor Bayo Oyebade, executive director of the Mashiah Foundation, highlighted that this program is part of a sustained effort to deliver humanitarian support across the region.
This outreach represents the fourth phase of aid delivery, where a broad spectrum of beneficiaries-including women, men, children, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities-were provided with food supplies and other critical resources designed to alleviate hunger and restore their dignity.
Pastor Oyebade reaffirmed that, with the backing of ELCA, the Mashiah Foundation is steadfast in its mission to rejuvenate lives, empower local communities, and promote lasting peace. He voiced optimism for a future Plateau State where families can live without fear, children access education in safe settings, and all citizens unite to create a prosperous and honorable society.
