Dr. Ayinla Saadu Alanamu (Koroagba), who previously chaired the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and the Governing Council of Kwara State Polytechnic, has publicly expressed profound gratitude following the presidential pardon he recently received from President Bola Tinubu last Thursday.
He also conveyed heartfelt appreciation to Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, recognizing the governor’s relentless dedication and pivotal role in facilitating the presidential clemency.
Alanamu shared these sentiments on Friday during a visit from a delegation of Governor AbdulRazaq’s close aides, led by senior adviser and counselor Alhaji Saadu Salahu, who came to offer their congratulations at his home in Ilorin.
The group also included distinguished personalities such as the special adviser on Special Duties, Alhaji AbdulRazaq Jiddah; the special adviser on Media, Alhaji Bashir Adigun; the senior special assistant on Religion (Islam), Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaigoro; and a key member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji AbdulRahman Giwa.
Reflecting on the pardon, Alanamu remarked, “I take this opportunity to extend my sincerest thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting me this state pardon. My gratitude also goes to Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his steadfast and invaluable support throughout this journey. In moments when hope was scarce, no one demonstrated such exceptional kindness and encouragement as Governor AbdulRazaq.”
He further highlighted that the governor’s support during his difficult period was immeasurable, adding, “Only the Almighty can adequately reward the governor for his generosity and compassion.”
Concluding his remarks, Alanamu prayed for continued blessings and divine guidance upon Governor AbdulRazaq, wishing him abundant success and fulfillment in his leadership and benevolent endeavors.
