Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, has been honored with the distinguished title of Sarauniyar Yaki, which translates to Queen Warrior, by the Akko Emirate in Gombe State.
The esteemed Lamido Akko, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, conferred this honor on her during her official two-day visit to the emirate. This recognition highlights her relentless efforts in advocating for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities across Nigeria.
Upon receiving the title, the First Lady reiterated her dedication to promoting programs that uplift the girl-child and urged traditional rulers in the state to join forces in supporting her advocacy campaigns.
The event attracted several high-profile attendees, including Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and Honorable Usman Bello Kumo, the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, alongside other influential leaders.
