Cricket Australia has revealed that two players from the Australian Women’s World Cup squad experienced inappropriate physical contact from a bystander while in India. This event reportedly happened on a rest day following their six-wicket triumph over England in Indore.

In an official release, Cricket Australia stated: “We can confirm that two members of the Australian women’s team were inappropriately touched by a motorcyclist as they were walking to a café in Indore. The team’s security personnel promptly alerted local law enforcement, who are currently investigating the situation.”
