The 2026 edition of the 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership Summit has set focus on sustainable development across Africa, as top leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and peace advocates prepare to converge in Marrakech, Morocco.
Organised by the Davdan Peace and Advocacy Foundation in collaboration with 100 Most Notable Peace Icon Africa, the summit aims to celebrate excellence, foster cross-continental partnerships, and drive impactful initiatives that advance Africa’s growth and progress.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director.
According to him, the summit is scheduled to hold in Marrakech, Morocco, from 19th to 21st June 2026, under the theme: “Uniting Africa’s Change Makers for Growth and Impact: A Gate to Sustainable Development.”
The summit will feature the conferment of honours on the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, recognising distinguished individuals whose contributions have significantly influenced governance, business, innovation, and community development across the continent.
Amafibe described the summit as one of Africa’s most influential platforms for fostering collaboration, promoting leadership excellence, and driving impactful initiatives.
He added that the 2026 edition is expected to draw high-level delegates, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and peace advocates from across Africa and beyond.
The summit has a history of promoting cross-continental cooperation as the 2024 and 2025 editions, held in Kigali, Rwanda, saw new members inducted into the African-Asian Chamber of Commerce, enhancing economic partnerships between Africa and Asia.
Organisers expressed optimism that the Morocco gathering will not only celebrate excellence but also spark meaningful discussions and actions towards Africa’s sustainable development goals.
