Tech entrepreneur offers practical advice for aspiring entrepreneurs

… As Purch re-launches at 10th anniversary

The Chairman of Zinox Group, Leo Stan Ekeh, has said that it would be difficult for entrepreneurs to excel in business without having the ability to persevere, because it was certain that challenges would come at some point.

The businessman stated that most successful businesses encounter tough times at certain times, but stressed that breakthroughs can only come when the founders don’t give up on their dreams and continue to sustain.

The Zinox stated this in Ikeja while speaking at the 10th year anniversary and opening of a new business complex of Purch Gadgets & Electronics Ltd, a prominent retail company primarily operating within the Nigerian electronics market.

Sharing his success story further, Ekeh said that he was not born with a silver spoon, but worked hard to build his business from the beginning; he advised that entrepreneurs must have the mind-set and capacity to overcome challenges in business.

According to him, “Some of you think some of us were born in wealth, everybody from Dangote; but when you are in business the challenges would be there, but you must have the capacity and mind-set to overcome that is why we are in the third world.

“When I came back from London I used to sleep in a small store in Alausa, but I was ambitious.

“All the challenges we are going through will not stop”.

He added that it was important that entrepreneurs build trust with their partners to succeed.

“For you to reach this might you have gained trust, trust is the biggest currency in a country without trust”.

Speaking earlier on Purch business journey, the founder and CEO, Iyke-Henry Nnadike, said he went into business with the idea of solving a particular problem in the society without putting money at the forefront, knowing fully well that money would eventually come.

Thanking God for sustaining his business in the last one decade, he stated that his business had received tremendous support and patronage from people.

“I want to say thank you for your support. I want to say that your support is not wasted”, Henry Nnadike said.
