Namadi said the appointments were based on merit, integrity, experience and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of government programmes and policies. He described the swearing-in as a significant step in advancing the administration’s development agenda.

The governor reminded the appointees that public service is a trust, stressing that the oath they took represents a solemn commitment to the people of Jigawa State. He urged them to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and humility, while placing the state’s interest above all else.

Responding on behalf of the appointees, Kabiru Hassan Sugungum, special adviser on National Assembly matters, thanked the governor for the confidence reposed in them and pledged their loyalty to the administration and the State Executive Council.

Sugungum said the advisers would work to support the successful implementation of the administration’s 12-Point Agenda, in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and contribute to the governor’s vision for Jigawa State.
