Accompanying their baptism footage, the couple shared a powerful scripture: “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15.”
After more than two years of dating, Lyles and Bromfield announced their engagement in October 2024, with plans to celebrate their wedding in Spring 2026.
Both athletes have carved out impressive careers individually. Lyles, the American sprint sensation, holds the title of Olympic 100m champion and boasts eight world championship victories.
At the recent Tokyo 2025 World Championships, Lyles earned a bronze medal in the 100m and clinched his fourth straight world championship in the 200m, equaling Usain Bolt’s historic record as the only men to achieve this milestone.

On the other hand, Junelle Bromfield, a two-time Olympian and relay medalist, maintains a more understated public presence but is equally accomplished in her own right.

Although Bromfield has stepped back from competitive racing since their engagement, she continues to stand firmly behind Lyles, undeterred by the occasional criticism stemming from the intense sporting rivalry between Jamaica and the United States.
By openly embracing their faith, Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield have underscored the deep foundation of love and Christian principles upon which they intend to build their future family.
