Since his summer transfer from Sevilla on a free move, Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has made an impressive entrance at Celtic, according to Soccernet.ng.
The 28-year-old attacker has already found the net twice and assisted once in just four appearances, netting goals against Kilmarnock and Crvena Zvezda, while also setting up a teammate in the away fixture against Partick Thistle.
Having previously played for Manchester City, Iheanacho’s performances have drawn commendations from Celtic’s manager Brendan Rodgers as well as ex-Leicester City striker Gary Lineker.

Celtic Captain Praises Iheanacho’s Influence
Callum McGregor, a ten-time Scottish Premiership champion, recently shared his thoughts on Iheanacho’s arrival and the impact the former 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner has had since joining the Hoops.
“The moment I first saw him, you could immediately tell from the way he strikes the ball that he’s a quality player,” McGregor told the Glasgow Times.
“He brings a wealth of experience, having played at top clubs and under the same manager at Leicester. It’s clear he’s a talented footballer.”

“We likely signed him because he needed more minutes on the pitch to regain his rhythm,” McGregor added.
“What’s encouraging is his outstanding attitude since joining. This kind of smart recruitment doesn’t always require hefty fees-it’s about timing and bringing in players who are motivated.”
“There are numerous elements to consider when acquiring players. It’s crucial to bring them in at the right moment,” the 32-year-old concluded.

Currently, Celtic sit second in the SPFL standings, trailing Hearts by two points, with both teams maintaining unbeaten records so far this season.
