Ahead of Arsenal’s victory against West Ham, Bukayo Saka shared the playful message he got from Thierry Henry.
Arsenal secured a straightforward 2-0 victory over West Ham at the Emirates, a fixture they had lost in the previous two seasons.
Declan Rice kicked things off with a goal in the first half and then Saka sealed the deal with a penalty after halftime.
Saka marked his 200th Arsenal appearance with a goal, becoming only the second player in the club’s history to score on this milestone.
Henry’s message to Saka
After Saka was informed of the stat, after the game and he said, as reported by the Sun, “Of course it was – he has every record this guy.

“It is really nice for me. Thierry always messages me – he messaged me this morning as well to remind me we lost the last two games against West Ham at home.
“He is always pushing me and I think he wants me there with him. It is nice to have that encouragement from him and of course me, I want it as well, I’m really happy to have my name on these records.

“I’m just going to keep pushing and try and get some team trophies, which is what we have been searching for.”
The Gunners continue to push for the Premier League title this season, with their win against West Ham taking them to the top of the table.
