On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Egypt’s national football team clinched their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup by delivering a commanding 3-0 win against Djibouti in their ninth group stage encounter.
Driving the team’s success was Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, whose two decisive goals ensured Egypt’s dominance atop their qualifying group.
