At Preston Crown Court, it was revealed that Walid Saadaoui and Amar Hussein had obtained firearms along with a substantial stockpile of ammunition.
The two defendants, charged with plotting a terrorist assault in Greater Manchester, allegedly secured weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition as part of a plan intended to inflict severe damage on the Jewish community, the court was told.
Walid Saadaoui, 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, face accusations of preparing terrorist activities spanning from 13 December 2023 to 9 May 2024. Prosecutors argue that both individuals are radicalized Islamic extremists driven by deep-seated hostility toward Jewish people.
