Nigerian Audience to Enjoy Complimentary Football Broadcasts on Sporty TV
Sporty TV, an emerging free-to-air sports channel, has officially debuted in Nigeria, aiming to transform the sports viewing experience by offering a variety of top-tier content completely free of charge.
At a recent media briefing in Lagos, Oluchi Enuha, the network’s Executive Representative for Nigeria, shared the company’s bold aspirations for the platform.
Enuha emphasized that this initiative is poised to “reshape the sports broadcasting arena not just within Nigeria, but on a global scale.”
A cornerstone of this launch is a strategic alliance with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) alongside several international media partners.
This partnership is designed to set new standards for free-to-air television by delivering exceptional content quality to audiences and advertisers alike.
“We are delivering unmatched value and premium programming at zero cost to Nigerian viewers,” Enuha highlighted.
He further noted, “This marks a significant shift in the broadcasting landscape throughout Africa.”
Sporty TV’s extensive programming slate boasts over 600 live sporting events. Football enthusiasts can anticipate coverage of select fixtures from the English Premier League, La Liga, and Bundesliga.
Additionally, the channel will showcase South American football leagues, the decisive final four matches of the Super Eagles’ 2026 World Cup qualifiers, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Utilizing advanced technology and high-quality production standards, Sporty TV aims to bring premium sports content directly into Nigerian homes. Viewers will have access via the network’s mobile applications and YouTube channel, ensuring convenient and broad accessibility for all sports fans nationwide.
