“I remain confused by the referee’s decision to issue me a second yellow card. My reaction was purely about celebrating the team’s achievement, not a challenge to the referee’s authority. I have the utmost respect for the officials,” Flick added.
“I attempted to communicate with the referee after the incident, but he chose not to respond. I accept his decisions as part of the game. My conduct was never intended to confront him, and if he prefers to keep distance, I respect that without any hard feelings.”
