INEC Launches PVC Collection and Mock Accreditation Drive Ahead of Crucial Anambra Governorship Election

INEC announces PVC collection, mock accreditation ahead Anambra gov'ship poll

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed the timetable for the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and the execution of a trial accreditation exercise in preparation for the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.

According to a release signed by Victoria Eta-Messi, Director of Voter Education and Publicity, PVCs will be available for collection by voters who registered during the recent Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) from Wednesday, 22nd October to Sunday, 26th October 2025.

INEC urges all eligible voters who took part in the CVR to retrieve their PVCs at the Registration Areas where they initially enrolled. The Commission stresses that PVCs must be collected personally, as proxy collection will not be permitted under any circumstances.
