A Nigerian man named Usman Zannah recently commemorated eight years since his closest friend, Aliyu, wed his former girlfriend.
Back in 2017, Usman had asked Aliyu to discreetly approach his then-girlfriend to gauge her faithfulness. Unexpectedly, this test led to Aliyu and the woman marrying.
Usman shared on Twitter in 2019, “It’s been exactly two years since I sent my best friend Aliyu to see if my girlfriend would accept another man. Now, they are married and have one child.”
Revisiting this post on Thursday, October 23, 2025, he updated that the couple’s family has grown.
“They now have three children and are still going strong,” he added.
